Nick Athanassakis is a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist (CBT) and a certified TRE® provider based in Athens/Greece. He grew up in the USA, where he also obtained a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from Azusa Pacific University in California. His “love affair” with the body began as an athlete, playing basketball in his youth, on the collegiate level in the US and briefly as a professional in Greece.
Along with his father, Nick founded The Orphic Center, whose aim is to facilitate people to experience the teachings of Orphism, the ancient Greek spiritual movement whose central tenet was the liberation of the soul from the restrictive forces which hold it prisoner.
In our editorial team, Nick is responsible for the English “finetuning”. Together with Tobias, he translated the original German book manuscript into English.
